registering teams in the 8th Annual CPA/Ottawa Senators Alumni
- Wheelchair
Relay will also have the opportunity to enter the KanSport Battle of
the Bands to be held approximately one month prior to the Relay.
- Eight
finalists will be selected to perform at the Relay and to compete for
chance to win a Live Recording Session and master CD from WBMW RECORDS!
- During the Relay these 6 bands will be playing back to back while teams race around a track supporting their school/youth group and raising funds and awareness for persons with spinal cord injuries and other physical mobility impairments
Participating Schools also have the opportunity to:
- Hear a
dynamic and informative speaker with a spinal cord injury share how
they have met the challenges of living with a disability and have overcome
obstacles their able-bodied peers may never have imagined. Disability
awareness and prevention will be key messages in these presentations.
