Kreative Activities Network- Kids Helping Kids!
Now in its 2nd year, KANSport adapts a variety of activities for kids with a wide range of disabilities. These activities are run at participating schools throughout the year. KANSport's Mark Power, a special educational teacher at St. Paul's High School coordinates the adapted activities. From song and dance to sports and recreation, student, teacher and parent volunteers are instructed on how to involve the kids with disabilities in local schools.
Kids with behavioural and academic challenges are encouraged to build their self-esteem while helping other kids meet the challenges of their disabilities. Kids helping kids give the gift of hope and success!
